This is a blend of finely ground spices that are typical of the original pre-colonial chai, plain and simple. It is a lesser-known fact that black tea was added to chai only through the influence of the British and their desire to popularize the tea they had begun cultivating in India. South Indian spice gardens abound with a deliciously light, peppery finish. Premium, January-grown spices are used for this grade of blend.
Blend in your favourite black tea to add that malty undertone and coppery coloured cup we have come to expect in today's chai.

Ingredients: Cardamom, Ginger, Black pepper, White pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg.
