Our Traditional English Afternoon tea is a full service event offering multiple courses, elegant table settings, fresh, local foods expertly prepared, special flourishes, and hails the service and grandeur of England's original tradition which evolved via Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, a close friend of Queen Victoria, around 1840.  
4 courses of service commencing with sparking tea palette cleanse, savouries courses and the sweets course grand finale (very different scale and selections than our 'everyday' afternoon tea offering). Live musician with beautiful classical music completes the perfect ambiance of elegance to celebrate Mom. Our service lasts approximately 2 hours. Our service is 'consciously delicious' for people and the planet, 100% whole food plant based. Child price with smaller portions applies to children 10 & under. Gluten free ticket options are available (sorry not Celiac safe).
Gratuity is NOT included with your prepaid ticket. Guests are asked to please thank-you your server on the day of the event if you enjoyed their service - which we know you will!
Weather permitting, we will offer seating both indoors and outdoors - and this looks like an awesome spring for our covered porch seating on Mother's Day! While we do our best to accommodate all requests for specific seating, we will be unable to guarantee your preference. As our building is a heritage home over 100 years old, we are not wheelchair/handicap accessible. However, if weather permits, we can accommodate mobility limited guests with a table on our front lawn. Please contact us to enquire and we will do our best to make this possible, though we cannot control the weather!
We are pleased to inform that the price of this special event remains the same as last year. Selections are prepared from scratch, always with ingredients as local as possible, and with the help of a local chef. We grow our own greens whenever possible. We believe our reputation, our quality standards and the excellent service experience our guests have come to appreciate in all we do, are well worth it.

Please note: weather permitting we may have 4 tables of two available on our porch; if you wish to specifically request porch seating please book online and follow up with this request by phone, or make your booking by phone. 
Cancelations permitted on or before May 8th; sorry no cancelations or refunds after May 8th and we hope you will be able to gift your service to someone you care about if unable to attend. As always our guests are welcome to take extra food from their service home to enjoy.
