BOP stands for broken orange pekoe; a style of cut that lends extra surface area for a stronger cup. It has a slight oaky flavour, with a lovely bright flavour, and just enough tannin to be refreshing and uplifting. In addition, the loose leaf produces an excellent rounded intenseness, and this means that it takes milk very well. This cup is bright, uplifting, lovely round and full bodied.
