We're going to be honest here. We first bought these mini mixers because they are so darn little and cute!  
This little guy won't whisk nearly as well as a proper bamboo matcha whisk, but it is a low cost option for a newbie that wants to try some matcha before investing in all the proper tools. It's also a great little tool to carry with you when traveling and you don't have your usual gear with you to whisk matcha, your coffee for french press.  Involve your kids in learning matcha making: whisk their bowl and then let them experiment with their very own mini mixer! Teach the "W" and make their tea drinking fun (an protect your proper whisk!)
